Meet Our MPTC Board of Directors

Our hard working board is dedicated to collaboration — and continuing to evolve the success of the center.

Rev. Tim Higgins

St. George’s Episcopal Church
Chair
Tim now lives in Saco with his wife Maureen after 30 years in Gorham. He serves as a rector at St. George’s Episcopal Church in Sanford. Maureen is project coordinator for a “Matter of Balance,”…a fall prevention program out of Maine Health. Three grown children are spread throughout the countryside…Maeghan is a teacher in Chicago entering her 5th year and just attained her Master’s in Education. As a field tech, Garrett works for Hubbard Brook Research Institute in Holderness, NH. He loves the job but has aspirations for further education and research. Maeve just began a two-year fellowship at McLean Hospital in Boston as a Mental Health Specialist. This a great opportunity as she considers her options after recently graduating from Quinnipiac U with a BS in psychology.

Tim thoroughly enjoys his work as chair of the board at MPTC for the past several years. He looks forward with great anticipation and passion to the opening of our Biddeford site in fall 2024. Tim states, “MPTC continues to provide affirmation, support, and challenge to young people willing to apply themselves to all we offer. This same mantra now spreads to the Biddeford/Saco area.”
