MPTC Honored in the State Capital

Maine’s 74th Governor, Paul LePage, took time out of his busy schedule to celebrate the hard work of 2015 Nonprofit Business Leader of the Year Donna Dwyer and a few members of her team at the award-winning My Place Teen Center – a shining star in Westbrook’s downtown – and discuss the funding challenges and shortfalls of Maine’s critical nonprofits like MPTC, which serve an ever-increasing need for underprivileged youth in our communities. Moments later, Donna and the MPTC were recognized by proclamation on the floor of the Senate by Senate President Michael Thibodeau and Westbrook Senator Cathy Breen.
