The 4th annual 5K road race/walk benefits My Place Teen Center (MPTC) in Westbrook, Maine. For the past 17 years, MPTC has provided an after-school, year round, free program for youth ages 10-18. We offer a FUN, safe, multi-purpose, academically enriching, life-skills enhancing, hunger relief, youth development program that has been the focal point of greater Portland’s teen activities. The Red Door 5K race takes place along the river in downtown Westbrook. The event also includes a post-race gathering at My Place Teen Center with a local band, great food, and race awards & prizes — all to support a great organization.
